A Guide for the Perplexed, Maimonides’ book, is meant for people who can no longer appreciate a fundamentalist view of religion. Rabbi Lenny Kravitz felt that he deliberately wrote the book in a convoluted way to avoid condemnation by the simply religious. We will look at some excerpts from the book, to see if they make sense from Rabbi Kravitz’s perspective.
