The Chavurah will meet on November 2 to study the Torah portion Noach.  In this well-known Torah portion, Gd punishes the wicked in the world by causing a giant flood but saves Noah and his family, who will repopulate the world. We are also introduced to Abram and his wife, Sarai.  Join us, following the Shabbat service and communal lunch, to read and discuss this text, which sheds light on the ancients’ view of human nature and Gd.
