Admissions
Riverdale Temple Nursery school offers a private 2’s program, and 3K and Pre-K for all. For our 2’s program, families will begin registering now, and receive an acceptance letter by February 1st. For our 3’s and 4’s program, families will be required to register for school through the DOE website (myschools.nyc) later this school year, but prior to that we ask that you tour our school and fill out our application, so you can make sure that RTNS is the right fit for your family. In the meantime, you can go to myschools.nyc to sign up for alerts as to when registration will open for the 2024-25 school year.
If you are interested in attending Riverdale Temple Nursery School, you must schedule a tour prior to filling out our application. Tours are an important element of the admission process. We want to make sure that we are the right match for your family. In our tour you will see our children learning, playing and exploring their world with their friends and their teachers. You will be able to ask many questions. Please know that there are no questions that are too small when it concerns your child. We look forward to meeting you and sharing our special school with you.
The school gives priority in admission to current students and their siblings, children of Riverdale Temple members, children of school and Temple employees, and children of school alumni.
RTNS Tours for the 2024-25 School year
This year, we will be offering in-person tours to vaccinated adults only. This tour will include a tour of our school, followed by Questions & Answers with the Director, Alexandra Abikzer. You’ll get to see our wonderful school in action and learn about our program offerings, classrooms, enrichments, and approach to early childhood education.
Tours will begin November 9th and every Tuesday and Thursday after that. Tours will be given at 9:00am, 9:30am, 10:00am or 10:30am.
