Ruach Shabbat

Once a month on a Shabbat Eve, Riverdale Temple comes alive with the energizing rhythm and melodies of the Ruach Shabbat Band, led by Cantor Joshua Finkel. Ruach Shabbat is an experience for all ages, and not to be missed!

Each Ruach Shabbat is a moving and invigorating musical celebration of the Shabbat spirit. This engaging, participatory service incorporates the traditional Kabbalat Shabbat prayers welcoming Shabbat, led by Rabbi Gardner, and is put to music by the full Ruach Shabbat band, featuring the voice of our own Cantor Joshua Finkel.
