Dr. Michael Griffel is a long-time Riverdale Temple member, musician, and Juilliard School professor. We are fortunate that Michael’s extensive knowledge of music history makes it possible for him to bring his unique abilities to a subject that will both educate and entertain us: the Broadway Musical and the composers of its Golden Age who created these shows.

Enjoy the cabaret’s refreshments while toasting an era strongly influenced by some very talented musicians and their impact on Broadway. Cantor Josh Finkel will be enriching the program by singing a number of musical selections featured in Michael’s talk.
