The Women of Reform Judaism is launching a campaign for reproductive rights on Thursday, June 27 at 7:00pm in the Riverdale Temple Ballroom. Bring phones, computers, and battery packs. We will be focused initially on Florida, where reproductive rights are in a referendum in the November 5, 2024 election. We will be calling and sending postcards to Floridians, alerting them to the importance of their vote. You are needed to defend our rights!

Our postcards come from the Religious Action Center of Union for Reform Judaism, an affiliate of WRJ, and they require we take a pledge to be nonpartisan in our messages on postcards. Please complete this pledge here to participate.

You play a critical role in ensuring folks know how to request their vote-by-mail ballot and protecting the vote for ALL Floridians.

Temple Beth Sholom-Miami Beach, Temple Beth Am-Pinecrest, and Temple Judea-Coral Gables will be our June VIRTUAL Phone Bank Action Night Co-sponsors, where we will join them on Zoom at 7:00pm ET.

Participants will need a computer and a cellphone for the evening. We will begin with a quick ten-minute training, then call voters and a quick debrief before we end at 8:00pm ET. If you cannot bring a computer, you may work on the postcards urging people to vote yes on Amendment 4 for the right to an abortion.
