Thanks for your participation in July. Our next selection is Peony, A Novel of China by Pearl S. Buck, who wrote The Good Earth and other bestselling, award-winning novels about the Far East. Buck has won a Nobel Prize for her writing. Peony takes place in the China of a hundred years ago and tells the story of the forbidden love between a Chinese woman and a Jewish man.
