Justin Cammy is professor of Jewish Studies and World Literatures at Smith College. His critical edition of the Yiddish memoir From the Vilna Ghetto to Nuremberg was awarded the 2021 Leviant Prize in Yiddish Studies from the Modern Language Association.

The YIVO Jewish Culture Series at Riverdale Temple draws its presenters from the extensive network of scholars affiliated with the YIVO.

This lecture series was developed by Riverdale Temple in partnership with the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research. YIVO (YIVO.org) is a Jewish cultural institution known for its world-renowned library and archive of Jewish history and culture. Headquartered in New York City, its public programs cover a range of subjects dedicated to fostering knowledge of the ongoing story of Jewish life.
