You are invited to attend a Sneak Preview of Josh Greenfield’s 15-Minute Play,
“Greatest Treasure,” followed by a Question and Answer with the Author
Here’s what you need to know:
WHERE AND WHEN:
The 55+ Circle of Friends is hosting this free event in the Riverdale Temple ballroom on Tuesday, July 8, from 4:30 to 5:30pm.
WHAT:
Riverdale Temple member Josh Greenfield will perform his one-man, 15-minute play, My Greatest Treasure. Josh will answer questions after the monologue. The play will receive its premiere performance as part of the New York Theater Festival two days later on July 10.
WHAT’S THE PLAY ABOUT?
A man in his 50's, Jordan Fineman, looks back to share a tough time he experienced many years before, the time he abruptly halted six powerful psychiatric medications. The play resolves positively, with the protagonist’s renewed resolve to pursue his own mental health.
JOSH GREENFIELD:
A teacher of English as a Second Language at an international school in Riverdale, Josh is a graduate of Cornell University. His work has been featured in various publications. Josh’s novel, Continue Breathing: A Novel, was published in December 2020 by Adelaide Books.
