The Chavurah will meet on January 10, to read and discuss the Torah portion Shemot. There is a new Pharaoh who did not know Joseph and decrees that all Israelite male children be killed, setting in motion the story of Moses being found in the bulrushes and growing up in Pharaoh’s household.

After many twists and turns, Moses will return to this Pharaoh and demand that he free the enslaved Israelites. He refuses. Join us as we seek to uncover some of the meanings embedded in this gripping parsha. No prior knowledge of Torah is necessary.
